Up for sale is an uncut antique Chinese silk brocade weaving with green ground; the yardage was made for a Han Chinese's wrapped skirt during the Qing dynasty, it was woven with different scenaries, mountains, pagodas, bridges, etc. with polychrome silk floss and gold thread; excellent condition, no wear, a label with name of the silk manufacturer is woven on the bottom. A piece good for study purposes. Measurements: Width 30", length 70"

A Jianyang hare-furs tea bowl was in very good condition.
In regular size, the bowl was stand on a well-defined foot ring.
Characteristically both on glaze and on the body clay, the bowl was in decent look with clear and charming hare-furs effects.
The hare-furs were in short-hairs' type which was an exact depiction for the animal's furs...

A large bottle vase painted in Qianjiang style with eight fishes swimming amongst aquatic plants. On one side is a poem which reads "A fisherman I am not, using brush as fishing rod. Casually sketch a few fishes, then look into the painting on the pot. Winter of Ji Si year (1929). Tie Jian Zi Deng Bishan painted at Zhu Shan Mountain." On the base is the seal mark "Bishan". Deng Bishan was one of a very famous group of artists known as The Eight Friends...

A very rare ancient eye bead from China from the Warring States period. It has a hole for stringing and can be worn. Size: Diameter. 2.5cm. Condition: Excellent for its age. One eye is slightly chipped. See last photo.

Chinese heavily potted late Qing dynasty Shiwan (Shekwan) earthenware globular form bud vase with small cylindrical mouth covered overall with a thick, Song dynasty style Jun-type glaze that stops well above the concave base. Circa late 19th to early 20th century. 4 ½” high x 4 ½” diameter. Very good overall condition. There is a light scratch or production flaw in the body at the base (see enlargements 4 and 8)...

A pair of Chinese cloisonne horse decorated with archaic geometric designs often seen in Chinese bronzes from the Shang dynasty with motifs of dragons and phoenixes. The saddle and decorations contain motifs of scrolling vines and designs reminiscent of central Asia. Age: 20th century. Size: Height: 15.75" Width: 7.5" Length: 19"

Probably depicting an ancestor or a Taoist deity seated on a horseshoe back chair. H. 28 cm. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Very good condition with nice wear and patina. There is a repair to the left front leg of the chair. This repair was done in iron and seems to be a repair from the period of manufacture. Old collection number on the back. Lapis Lazuli Hard Stone Pendant with three dimentional carving of Phoenix Bird in the center on both sides, 2 1/2" high(only Lapis part, not included the gold part), 1 3/8" wide, 1/4" thick, with natural color of heavy Lapis Lazuli hard stone with impressed mark of "14K" and "585" on yellow gold ring. No damages.

The standing figure with intricately decorated robe, with remains of gilding and red pigments. In her hand she is holding a pagoda. At the back of the stand there are two old collection numbers. This is a heavily cast figure, H. 30 cm, weight 6 kg. China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)

Chinese pair of official's hat arm chairs, made of beautiful huanghuali wood with light tone and dramatic grain, rattan seats, back splat of each chair is carved with chimeras, 19th century. Size of each chair: 46 3/4" high x 26" wide x 21" deep.

A small Buddhist statue with serene expression, wearing Bodhisattva garments. Seated in dhyanasana, holding the hands in dhyanamudra. Made of hardwood with gilt lacquering and lapis lazuli powder in the curled hair. Condition: tip of the nose lost, some wear and traces of age. Dimension: 18.8 cm tall, weight: 565 g.
