A well painted under glaze blue decorated bowl and cover depicting houses pavilions and gardens in a river landscape. This item was made in Jingdezhen Southern China, for export to Europe, circa 1770 -1790, during the reign of the Qianlong emperor. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration...

Description:

A thin, white-glazed dish was decorated on the surface with vibrant motifs of a galloping horse among flowers and weeds.
By the rice-white glaze, it was revealed with the light grayish-tinted body clay on the rim.
With characteristic shape, the tear-dropping glaze, the dated and exact design of the motifs, and the obvious incursions(which in sore's-like condition under magnify glass) happened to the glaze, the dish can be fully verified its authentication...

A nice black glaze jarlet with slight thickly potted and fluted side body, covered overall with black glaze. Song dynasty 11th-12th century. Condition is near perfect except found a tiny flake glaze to body. High: 6cm.

A square cover or shawl made of shiny purple silk beautifully embroidered with birds, flowers, butterflies and tendrils. The long fringes multi-colored. With light blue silk lining. Condition: fine, lining with one hole. Dimension without fringes: 151 cm x 151 cm.

A good and rare celadon dish with beautifully crackled to whole body. Southern Song dynasty 11th-12th Longquan ware imitating to Guan type. Condition is very good except three minor tiny chips and misfired to an area on back side, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 21.2 cm.

This pair of earmuffs are kept together with a silk ribbon. Worn to protect the ears in winter, the outer side has delicate embroidered flower motif, and the inside is slightly padded and has ear pockets which slip of the ears.

Lovely small wooden house altar with fine carving and its original gilding and the original cover (most of the time the covers are missing). 19th century. Dimensions: 35x30x14 cm. Condition: a crack in the cover, some wear to the lacquer and gilding.

A rare, finely decorated, late Ming twin-handled bronze vase which still retains traces its original gilding. The vase carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later during the 16th or early 17th Century - possibly during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). The glass snuff bottle shows the four sea-dragons swimming in the sea. This probably represent the four seas.Each of the dragon have four claws which represents royalty but not imperial. The colour of the snuff bottle is of dark orange colour. The base has a honorific Qianlong mark to the base. Cir. late 19th century, likely to be dated to the Guangxu (1875-1908) period.

A very finely painted fencai/famille rose enamelled teapot.The poem on the reverse side reads - "fang sheng chi jia; xiang qin xiu pi" which can be translated - "Fragrance (of tea)formed between teeth and cheeks; the scent (of the tea) deeply affects heart and spleen (refreshes one deeply)". It is signed "nie xing she zou" - "made by Nie Xing Sheng" (b.1909; d.1981) - active 1916-1981. The base mark reads Jiang Xi Mei Shu Ci Chang - "Jiangxi Art Porcelain Factory"...
