Small architectural element with a finely carved relief decor showing a couple in erotic embrace. Wood, with nice patina. Nepal, early 17th century maybe earlier. Height: 26,5 cm. The piece is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Erosion due to great age, otherwise very good condition.
A rare example of the wellknown Tibetan cups, with high quality repoussé silver depicting Buddhist symbols and a mask at the bottom.. H. 5,5 cm. Diameter 12 cm. This piece dates from the 19th to early 20th century. Made of high grade silver. Good age wear.

Sold. Thank you A complete old Tibetan ladies purse made of Yak leather and inlaid with silver and gilt carvings with a center piece of Turquoise. The front has carvings of two fish (representing the beginning of life)and flower design. The back has a center tree design. There is a silver woven chain attached to the top for carrying. Age: Late 19 Century. Size: Leather purse. L. 12cm. W. 7cm. Overall length. 32cm. Condition. Very good.No repairs. Normal ageing.

SOLD Tibetan bronze gilt statue of Kubera, known as the "Lord of Wealth and the North". He originates from Hindu mythology but is also recognized in Buddhism and Jainism. He holds a mongoose as a symbol of his victory over the Nagas, snakelike deities and guardians over treasures. He sits upon the back of a lionlike creature and has an arch of flames with gilt tips behind him. The jewels on his crown and around his neck are dotted with blue and red enamel.

$2,250.00 Tibetan Himalayan Heavy large carved wood Manuscript/script Cover, some of the gold and Polychrome finish still remain between low relief carved design, 27 1/2" long, 10 1/2" high, 1 1/2" thick, weight is heavy and one(1) large size of wood panel was used. One end is carved with polychrome and gold finish, and the other end is not carved. There are some yak butter stains on wood, and rounded corners with age. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

Sold. Thank you Two Tibetan bone carvings of dancing Dakinis from a ceremonial bone apron. One Dakini carries a chopper, kapala (skull cup) and a skull scepter; the other holds a kapala in her left hand. Both have large scrolling swirls carved above and below them. The backs have numerous holes for stringing. The bone is probably from a Yak.
Period: 18th/19th Century. Size: 16cm & 17cm. W. Both 4cm. Condition: No repairs. cracks or chips.
A very rare and early example with its original polychrome and clear traces of long time use. Note the glossy patina on the back of the mask. There is some minor old damage caused by insects on the eyebrows, but in general this mask is in a very good authentic condition. H. 29,5 cm, W. 23 cm. From a Dutch private collection.

Sold to China Vajradhara or Dorje Chang in Tibetan is the ultimate primordial Buddha or Adi Buddha according to the Gelug and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. This fine example is from Tibet or possibly from Nepal. It is well proportioned and has very nice facial features. Please note the fine engraving on the back of the figure. It is in a very good condition with normal age wear, a nice patina and remains of polychrome. H. 23 cm. From a Dutch private collection.
