(Tung-Chih) 1862-1874
LOTUS Porcelain Bowl enameled around exterior with 6 large Lotus heads borne on leafy scrolling strap work, all below Ruyi band. The base bears a 6 Character mark.
Size: Top diameter 16 cm. (6 1/4" x height
2 3/4"). Very good condition, no restorations, chips or hairlines whatsoever!
Conservatoire Sakura
sold Buddhist monk in bronze cast with lost wax, gilded with gold leaf on lacquer. The character is represented standing on a lotus flower, hands joined in prayer. Chinese work from the end of the Ming dynasty, end of the 18th century or beginning of the 17th.
No restoration.

Dragon's Pearl
$2,350.00 A finely carved wooden image of Vajradakini holding kapala in the raised left hand and chopper in the lowered right hand. She is naked except for her ornaments and skull garland. Mostly carved from a single piece of wood, a part a piece of the garland. Remains of original painting.
Size: H. 14,3 cm. Tibet, 18th cent. Condition: Very good, only minor brake to left side of the skull garland.
Late Qing Dynasty “minyao” (household ware) porcelain bowl with a lovely light green celadon glaze and subtle russet treatment to the rim. Very good condition i.e., no cracks or chips. The shopmark inside the footrim is in seal script and is undecipherable. D: 17.5cm/6.9in and H: 6cm/2.5in. The original owners name is stippled in the cavetto as was the custom of the period.

sold A devil dressed in priest robes hunches down, prayer beads clutched in one gnarled claw, an incense burner held up to his sleepy visage, a humorous image carved from a single block of wood by Hirata Masaya (1900-1980) enclosed in the original signed wooden box dated Showa 35 (1960) and titled Sui-ko (Drunk on Incense). It is 25 x 20 x 26.5 cm and is in excellent condition.

sold, thank you Ready to soar off the table, a magnificent basin by Minegishi Seiko enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Suiseiji Utsuwa. The glaze is like layers of shattered ice, mirror smooth and emerald (actually Jade according to the title). It is 46 x 30 x 20 cm (18 x 12 x 8 inches) and in perfect condition.

Lovely traditional brush and ink painting of a lady This is signed DENG FEN 鄧芬, but is probably a later copy of his work. Apocryphally dated 1943 this was hand done in the later part of the 20th century. Backed on mounted on silk paper total dimensions are 100cm/39.5cm x 40cm/15.8in.

The ovoid shaped jar is supported by a short, flat foot, and covered by a brown glaze which appears black where it is applied more thickly. It is beautifully potted in a fine and dense stoneware, and is from a Northen Chinese kiln; probably Xing ware. See photo from Sui Xing excavation report.
Dimensions; approximately 15cm tall.
Condition; a firing fault to one side, and some nibble to the foot rim.

Base is stamped in Thai: 100% silver, 15 baht equivalent to 226 gr. surrounded by an 8 pointed star symbol. Raised on 3 bun feet.
14 cm. diameter. Very good condition, no repairs etc.
Unusual and rare early brown glazed Qing Moon Bottle circa 18th century, most likely from the Cau Ma shipwreck- there are small mineral adhesions on the surface indicating that this item was either submerged or buried (please note this may be cleaned off). It is in perfect condition with “paraffin patina”and uncommon “garlic head”. H: 20.6cm/8in and W:13.5cm/5.3in.
