A Japanese Aode Kutani dish from the Matsuyama kiln, C19th, Edo period. Decorated to the interior with a phoenix amongst paulonia leaves and flowers. The cavetto decorated with panels of wave motifs. Diameter 37 cm. In good condition, except for a 2cm chip to the rim. This attractive pottery jar of classical "hu" form was made some 2,000 years ago during the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220). It is quite "heavily-potted" and made from a highly-fired reddish pottery, coated in a finely-cracked green glaze that varies in colour and glossiness according to its varying thickness. Chinese Tang Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse (AD 618 - 906)

This attractive pottery model of a horse was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in white and reddish-brown pigments. This horse is well-modelled and stands upright and alert.

Height 22 cm (8.5 inches). A nice example in good condition with any possible repair having been performed to a professional standard.

An exquisite and rare blue and white Yuhuchunping, decorated with beautiful detail and powerful three claws Dragon swirling to the body chasing flaming pearl and when we see it, it will make us immediately hold our breath for a moment because it is so wonderful I have ever seen. Condition is excellent with no ny chips, no any crack and free from any restoration. Late Yuan Dynasty 14th Century. Height: 28,8 cm. Found at West Java from unknown collector, it's like a miracle happen.

Four well carved jade charms- the cicada is Burmese jadeite, the nephrite melon and fish have russet surface highlights and the tiger is particularly nice- carved in the Ming style. Scales are in enlargements. Total weight is 31 grams.

Unusual oval copper box with incised patterns depicting Dutch trading and historical scenes and classic Chinese “dragons chasing a flaming pearl”. This is circa 17th/18th century. The hinge and lock are later 19th century Chinese additions. Very good condition- no dents or scratches, there is a bit missing on the locking mechanism but still works- noted in last enlargement. L: 11cm/4.3in, W: 8.5cm/3.4in and H: 3.5cm/1.4in
