A small Japanese leporello album with lacquer covers, containing 46 hand-colored and mounted photographs (albumen prints). Mostly from Japan including topographic views, scenes with geishas, temples and landscapes, four photos are showing views of Shanghai, China. Dimension: total: c. 19.8 x 15.4 x 4.3 cm, photos: c. 8.6 x 12.6 cm. Condition: the album with traces of age, the mounts with light foxing, some added notes in ink. The photos faded and with wear.
