Three Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Porcelain Jars

A selection of three jars made during the 15th century and decorated in underglaze blue. The "double-gourd" jar (height 7.5cm) is from the "Hoi An" shipwreck and has a degraded surface. The round jarlet (height 5.75cm) is attractively decorated and has a very nice "feel" to it when handled. It has a few "nibbles" to the vulnerable mouth. Two Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Jars / Jarlets

These small porcelain jars, or jarlets, were made during the 16th century. They are both heavily-potted and attractively decorated in underglaze blue floral patterns, with a crackled glaze. They are both around 5.5cm tall, in good condition and free of restoration or repair, although one has minor "nibbles" to the vulnerable mouth edge.

Five Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Jarlets

These small jarlets was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. They are decorated with underglaze patterns of geometric and floral designs and coated in a translucent blueish glaze. The heights range from 3cm to 4.5cm. They are in good condition apart from the largest that has been broken and re-stuck, although this can only really be seen on close examination.

An antique Japanese Imari charger in blue and white with a hand painted scene of two mated cranes, a strong bamboo tree and Peonies as its central image. Diamond shapes with stylized Chrysanthemums border the interior rim and mountain ranges with dotted clouds surround the exterior of the plate.
