A rare and wonderful Chinese porcelain bowl with beautiful glaze designs of cranes flying over crashing waters, each carrying a different object of auspicious nature, such as a lotus, a scroll, a fan, a sword, a gourd bottle, and a basket of fruit. Brightly multicolored clouds fill empty space between each bird. The inside of the bowl has a single crane flying over identical wave motifs with smoke clouds with minor wear. Excellent condition. A fine and very rare pair of monochrome rouleau shaped porcelain vases with apple green lustrous glaze; the base and interior are glazed white. There are old collector's labels to the base. These items were made in China, in the late 17th or early 18th Century, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 13cm (5inches)high.

This is Rikushaku-kanban where cotton cloth spun by hand for Edo period was used for. This cotton has the good feel. As for this, a crest is a letter of Kotobuki. The letter of Kotobuki expresses words and a ceremony of the celebration. A letter and the pattern of the cross filler are dyed in Tsutsugaki. This has a stain in several places. The history of Japanese chawans should not be written without this 15th century Iga chawan. It was produced during the Muromachi Period, which was running from approximately 1337 to 1573.
