A Canton enamel bowl, beautifully decorated with flowers and a rock in Famille rose colors under a border in gilt and puce. Blue orchid mark to the interior, puce orchid to the back. 18th century, late Qianlong. Height "2¾/ 7,2 cm. Condition: damages and stress lines (cf pics.), no repair.

Three Yixing or Zi Sha tea bowls, the interior and the base glazed in turquoise, the exterior with four characters in white glaze. One a little greener than the others, and marked “Import”. China, c 1900. Condition: fine, except for a glaze loss near the border of one bowl, caused in fabrication (cf. pics). Height: "2/ 4,8 - 5 cm and diameter "2 ½ - 2 ¾ / 6,5 - 7 cm.

A pair of Yixing or Zi Sha tea bowls, the interior and the base glazed in turquoise, the exterior with four characters in white glaze. Both with impressed key fret border. China, c 1900. Height "2/5 cm and "2/4,7 cm Condition: a minimal glaze flake to one bowl.

DESCRIPTION: A long, six-sided Chinese ink stick with nicely detailed dragon and phoenix curling about the surface. Short, impressed Chinese inscriptions are found on two sides. One of the four treasures of the scholar's studio, ink sticks (or cakes) would be carefully ground by the scholar and mixed with water on an inkstone to paint calligraphy or scrolls with a brush. This black ink stick is in good antique condition. DIMENSIONS: 6 1/2" long (16.5 cm) x 1 1/4" diameter (3.2 cm).

Semi-eggshell thin cup and saucer by Imura, Japan, c 1920. Decoration in black, gilt and orange-red of fans in the Kutani style. Signed Nihon (Japan) Yokohama Imura Tsukuru. Height of cup "2¼/ 6 cm, and diameter of saucer "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the enameled decoration. Saucer with a small nick to the rim (cf. photo).

This is a remarkable antique Huqqa crafted in the 18th century in India during the Mughal Islamic period. The Huqqa takes the shape of a bell and is made of brass covered with sheet silver. A superb Karatsu chawan dating from the mid Edo period (1615-1868). Karatsu pottery originated more than four hundred years ago in the small town of Karatsu, located in northern Kyushu. This is a fine bronze Buddhist votive shrine from the middle of the 19th. century ( Qing ) continuing the tradition of the Northern Wei Dynasty. The shrine has four splayed legs cast with an inscription and is cast in relief with a seated figure of Buddha.
