Height: 56.5 cm An atmospheric Jizo stone, with stylistic signs attesting firmly to a Muromachi-Period manufacture. Uncommon.

From our Southeast Asia Collection, a fine and large pair of ornamental bronze Burmese gongsmen, early 20th century, crisply cast depicting two gongsmen carrying a large circular gong known as a "maung" suspended beneath a pole.

A Zitan brush-licker was in vibrant form. By traditional designs on the patterns of the sea waves, this wood scholar dish was surrounded on the rim with scrolling water. Purplish oxidation was happened to the surface when grayish deposition was found within the crevices. Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. Length: 11.3cm. Width: 8.5cm. Height: 3.5cm. A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED. Japanese silver mounted Satsuma buckle painted with a traditional pavilion besides the water's edge with mountains in the distance, Meiji period, circa 1910.
