This is absolutely rare:

A 16th century Momoyama Period Wa-Nari shaped Kuro Mino Oribe Chawan with a rounded brim and a 'wandering' lip, made of light, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body was trimmed with a potter's knife in its lower part around the foot ring. A wonderful tong mark is still visible (please see picture number 3).

This is Aka Raku tea bowl from the Late Edo Period that has been repaired using the traditional Japanese kintsugi technique. The bowl has a warm, earthy color with a slightly irregular shape, typical of Raku ware. The surface features small speckles and a soft, smooth glaze with a gentle shine.

Thin, gold-colored lines from the kintsugi repair run vertically along the bowl. The foot is unglazed, and the potter's mark is incised near the foot ring.
