Republic period, 1940s or earlier, semi translucent jade brush washer, or possibly a snuff tray, in an unusual oval shape with a small carved flower button in the center. The jade has a lovely soft polished surface which is always rare to find. An unusual Chinese cloisonne enamel bowl, Qianlong, decorated inside and out with red lotus flowers and green lotus pads on a blue ground, the centre of the interior and the base each with a pale green lotus pod. 18 cms diam., 10 cms high. Heavily cast. 830g. I have seen this design on a couple of moon flasks, but never on a deep bowl such as this.

Japanese mirror in cast bronze, partially silvered. Rare and elegant decoration in relief, in the center the "Mon" of the Tori-O clan of Yamaguchi in Suwo, surrounded by scrolls of flowers and stylized clouds mixed with Ginkgo Biloba leaves.
