Transitional between late Ming dynasty and early Kangxi period, Qing dynasty. A small 17th century Chinese scholar's bronze water pot with matching spoon. The water pot is cast in the form of a goose, its head turned over its back, its feathers and wings picked out in relief and incised with swirls and other abstract designs.
