Good brush painting of a tiger by the artist Li Shou Lin dated 1978. Painted in the traditional style water color and ink mounted on silk and heavy paper. Unfortunately the mounting paper has suffered mold damage while the painting itself was affected in a minor way in the form of some discoloration, having said this if framed with new matting the flaw is very negligible. Chinese late Qing dynasty square form wood table dressing chest or scholar’s box with attractive pronounced wood grain. The front panel is decorated with a butterfly or bat form metal lockplate. It lifts off to reveal seven drawers with metal double-fish drawer pulls. The top has two bronze handles set against six floral mounts. Late 19th to early 20th century. 9 3/8” square. A unique and rare stone seal was found in perfect condition.
It was made in simple and characteristic stone-coffin form (石函型制）and the YuZi(魚子紋）marble stone which was usually found in the ancient times.

It is in good patina and preserved in perfect condition without any defects.
The excellent manual craftsmanship convinced us that it was a piece of art originated from good date.

Rare antique Chinese multi-color scholar's brush holder in the form of the Chinese men's boot, Ming Dynasty 1368 -1644 AD.

Made of ceramic with sancai glazing, elaborately molded-in raised pattern, the boot's toe is adorned with a monster mask and richly glazed in cobalt blue, turquoise, brown, and cream beige.

CONDITION: Shows the age and use, with minor age wear.

19th century Chinese carved green fluorite scholar's table libation cup/brush washer with nice purple highlights on the superbly done top rim. It is carved in high relief with birds, flowers and rockery with the bottom part having a twisting stem type riser. In excellent condition, it measures without stand 3" high x 3" long (at the very top rim) x 2.25" wide as the top rim flairs out more across the length.
