Chinese antique scroll painting with calligraphy. Painted on green paper printed with silver dragon in clouds. Signed "Mo Youzhi". Mo Youzhi (1811-1871) was a famous calligraphy painter. 19th century. Size of scroll: 84" high x 22" wide. Size of art: 52 1/2" high x 16 1/4" wide.

Long temple banner, also called "bridge painting" hand painted on paper representing Taoist deities in all sorts of situations. A stick is affixed on both ends. China, mid 19th century, Yao ethnic group, south-west China. Length: 4.12 m. A few restorations and losses, otherwise good condition.

A quite large bamboo brush pot, all around deeply carved with warriors among a pagoda landscape. Condition: the separately carved volute foot with losses. One warrior with missing arm (see picture no.6), few cracks. Dimension: 18.5 cm high, diameter: c. 13.1 cm.

An overlay leather table chest with all original hardware. Age.Qing dynasty mid 19th century. Size: L.38cm. W.22.5cm. H.22cm. Condition: No repairs. Natural aging.

Depicting several generations of high ranking officials and their wives. Bright colours and very fine painting. Condition: age wear, paint loss, cracks, traces of repainting. The painting had been remounted. Personally I would remove the borders and have the painting framed. Dimensions: the painting 95 x 150 cm, the scroll 109 x 210 cm.

Depicting a high ranking mandarin with his three wives. Dimensions: the painting 89x137 cm, the scroll 103x197 cm. Condition: expected age wear, paint loss, cracks, traces of repainting, remounted on a new scroll.

Small scroll painting on paper representing two Taoist gods, the one on top wearing a mandarin attire, holding a banner and riding a white bird, the one on the lower side in military garb, riding a tiger, holding a banner in his left hand. China, mid 19th century. Height: 42 cm. Obvious signs of great age, a few losses, otherwise good condition.

Contemporary scroll painting by Gary Llamido. Entitled "Black Water" this painting is inspired by the quality of line of paintings from the Yuan Dynasty, China. Gracefully undulating brush work in sumi ink on paper. Painted in 2010. Size of artwork: 24" high x 27 3/4" wide. Size of scroll: 76" high x 27 3/4" wide.

The second of two Chinese Qing scrolled paintings on silk after Ding Yunpeng (active 1584-1638). 19th century or earlier. The size, including mounting, is 91”V x 23 1/4”H (painting: 86”V x 21 1/8”H). Good overall condition. The top wood bar is missing and a section of the top silk mounting is tattered. The painting has some typical buckling, creasing, soiling, and wear. Two panels from a multipart Chinese ink and color on silk painting after Ding Yunpeng (active 1584-1638). The first Signed “Nanyu Ding Yunpeng” and with two red seals. Measures 94.5”V (85.5”V excluding mounting) x just under 23”H. 19th century or earlier. Very good overall condition. There is some soiling to the mount and the painting has some typical buckling, soiling, and wear. See item #1331946 for a description and images of the second panel...

An unusual leather overlay wooden table top chest with beautiful hardware. Size: H. 16cm. W. 38 x 22.2 cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the leather, but overall in good condition and useable.

A calligraphic inscription describing his accomplishments is at the upper left. Newly framed with Plexiglas to facilitate shipping. There is typical wear for a painting of this age with old restorations and damage evident. The painting is mounted to board so no creases or buckling are visible...
