Very Rare Chinese Neolithic Pottery Finishing Tool

This very rare pottery tool was made over 4,000 years ago during the Machang phase (c.2300 - 2000 BC) of the Majiayao culture from present day Gansu or Qinghai province. It was used for smoothing / burnishing the surface of pottery vessels. Length 8 cm. "Calcified" soil deposits on surface in places, no sign of repair.

Such tools are extremely rare. We purchased this back in the 1990s when we purchased many Neolithic pottery vessels...

Eight Ancient Chinese Bronze Arrowheads - Han Dynasty / Warring States

Here is a group of eight bronze arrowheads from the Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 220) to the Warring States period (475 - 221 BC). These all have parts of their shafts and a couple of them seem to be a mixture of bronze for the actual head and iron for the shaft. As seen. Sizes range from 4.75 cm to 8 cm in length.

Fine pair of black temmoku bowls with russet rims and traces of silver leaf patterns. Both are in excellent condition. D: 9.1cm x H: 3.9cm. Suitable for tea ceremonies. These are about 90% correct for being of the Song period, but the lack of excavation traces and inside the foot rim being to level and flat throws doubt on this, also the patterns are usually seen on Wuyi Shan Kiln pieces and not in Jianyang.
