An extremely rare and beautiful blue and white Meiping with well balance potted, decorated with Three Friends of Winter these are Pine, Bamboo and Plum flanked by continuously Ruyi scrolls to the shoulder and classic scrolls found with original lid with plum and crescent moon. An extremely rare Wucai/Fahua dish decorated at interior with 16 (sixteen) Children's in playing ground and with peacock blue ground tone. The exterior with 12 (twelve) Children's on red ground and the characters among the peacock blue ground with Ming dynasty Chenghua period. Unglazed mouth rim. Condition is perfect with no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 21,7 cm. Important research item for Ming Chenghua Imperial pieces.

It would be impossible to overstate either the beauty or the importance of this magnificent 2000 year-old jade carving. It measures 8-1/2" in height (22cm) and, apart from one or two age-related minor abrasions (shown in the photographs) is in outstanding condition. This exceptional jade carving retains a substantial portion of the iron sword that it once held. A near identical example is published in the catalog of artifacts recovered from the tomb of the King of Nanyue. Large Chinese Western Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Hu Jar

This attractively-shaped pottery jar, of "hu" form, was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a fairly high-fired grey pottery. It has a wide body with a relatively short neck that flares out into a wide mouth. The surface has been decorated with geometric and swirling patterns in a variety of coloured cold-painted pigments, good traces of which still remain.

A Cizhou white ware dish of an angular form; Northern Song dynasty. This dish shows attractive crackling and some staining. Likely, it came from the Guantai kiln. Possibly, it originated from the village of Julu Xian in Southern Hebei province, which was destroyed by flooding in 1108 AD. Red staining is typical of relics from Julu Xian. A Chinese celadon bowl with moulded, floral scroll, decoration. Northern Song dynasty. Jan Wirgin, Sung Ceramic Designs (Page 24-25), classifies this type of design as being 'Sickle-leaf scroll'. This type of design was associated with both the Yaozhou and Linru kilns; this bowl may be of the later kiln. Diameter, 13.8 cm. Condition: free from cracks or restoration. There is some glaze crawl to the underside; near the foot. It is slightly warped at the rim. There is a scratch by the foot.

A beautiful Blanc de Chine libation cup, Mid C17th. The shape is taken from the original rhinoceros horn form of libation cup. The combination of motifs found on this cup is most pleasant; sprig moulded with tiger, dragon emerging from clouds, deer and flying crane. The applique decoration of this cup is indicative of it's early dating. Width approximately 13 cm. Good condition: one small speck of glaze missing from the rim.
