SOLD This is a fine antique Japanese cloisonne vase with a midnight blue background and 11 flying sparrows. The birds are well done and there appears to be movement when looking at this piece. The vase looks great but it has a unique hard to see fill to a chip with a short line next to it(see the last image). The vase has not been sprayed. The vase stands 6 inches tall.

Early 20th century Size: 11" L x 10.5" W x 42.5" H A pretty porcelain figure of Guanyin seated on a lotus 'throne' attractively painted with bright famille rose / fencai enamels. This item was probably made in south China during the reign of the Jiaqing Emperor (1796-1820). Condition - there has been extensive restoration and re-painting. The hands have been broken off and replaced. The head has been broken off and re-fixed and there has been another break to the middle. There has also been restoration to the lotus petals. 24cm (9.5inches) high....
