This is a very fine and attractive Mt Fuji wireless cloisonne box. It actually looks very similar to a Mt Fuji Sosuke tray we once had. It is not signed butthe artist is most likely Ando or Gonda. The Box measures 5 1/4 by 4 inches and s 2 3/8 inches tall. The box is beautiful and perfect except for some odd tool marks on the inner rim of the lid.

Waves of color belt this unusual form by Usui Kazunari enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is 20 inches (50 cm) tall, roughly 8 inches (20 cm) diameter and in fine condition.
Usui Kazunari was born in Seto city, Aichi in 1954, and graduated the Nagoya University of Art, sculpture division in 1977. Rich patina jizaikagi hearth fish from the Taisho Period C.1920. The pot stabalizers had an iron rod through the fish that went up into a long bamboo pole that had an iron hook on the bottom to hold the iron pot over the hearth fire in old japanese farm houses.
