$8,500.00 A large Japanese bronze tripod censer decorated with various auspicious motifs. Dragons and phoenix-like birds are set within a wave pattern known as seigaiha. The feet of the vessel are shaped like scrolling clouds. A censer such as this would have been used for incense at a temple.

$4,000.00 A set of sword fittings compromising of a tsuba, pair of menuki, and fuchigashira. The menuki is chiseled in the katagiri style on shakudo with gold iroe embellishments. The fuchigashira are done in polished shibuichi bronze. The set comes with a special kiri box with purple chirimen silk to store the set.

Price on Request Chinese hand scroll portraying a hunting scene attributed to, Jin Tingbiao (~1767). Four hunters with four horses are gathered in this scene either preparing a hunting party or finishing one. Views of hunting, known as shoulie wenwutu were first seen from the Yuan dynasty and succeeding dynasties continued to paint various renditions. Comes in a beautifully carved box. Size: length 55.5" width 11.5"

SOLD. Stone fragment of Shogun Jizo mounted upon a horse, a shakujo (crozier) in the right hand and a hoju (sacred jewel) in the left. Early- to mid-Edo Period ca. 1700. Substantial old loss, most notably to the head/neck/forequarters and hindquarters of the horse. Light lichen accumulation.
Height: 28.5 cm A desirable fragment of a Shogun Jizo, stone depictions of which are exceedingly uncommon.

$185.00 Early 20th century Chinese hand made moss green pottery storage jar featuring an unusual cut out in the lid for easy lifting. The jar interior is glazed dark brown with the rim having a clear glaze. The green glaze is thick and rich. The lid has 3 small chips on the exterior unglazed part of the rim that can be studied in the photos, otherwise in excellent condition. This is a very special jar measuring 6 inches, 7 inches diameter.
