$600.00 A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar decorated with dramatic and humoristic animals and other motifs, and two unreadable characters on the bottom. The jar was made in early 17th century, probably for exporting. Condition: Perfect condition with three very short kiln cracks as shown on photos. Diameter: 4-7/8", height:3-3/4".

Price on Request A pair of extremely rare small porcelain dishes decorated with "qianjiang cai (淺絳彩)”, depicting a scene of rice transplanting on one dish, and a scene of rice harvest on another. Qianjiang Cai was a kind of enamel similar to Famille Rose, it was favored by Chinese scholars in late Qing Dynasty. Some researches said it was created in Xianfeng period, others argued that the using of this enamel should be as early as Daoguang period...

SOLD A monumental pair of Chinese hardwood temple corbels, finely carved as a pair of fu dogs and their offspring. Each adult fu dog stands on their front legs with the rear legs pointed upwards, so that they would press against the ceiling. The front legs are balanced atop a floral xiu qiu ball, and a rambunctious baby fu dog clings by its claws to the ball...

Sold A Chinese celadon-glazed porcelain vase with shape of an ancient cong, decorated with eight trigrams (bagua) on all four sides of the vase. A six-characters "Daqing Tongzhi Nianzhi" mark is inside the foot rim, and of the period. There are two long kiln cracks between the foot rim and the body of the vase (see photos #5 and #6), and three very short kiln cracks on the body. There is no damage to the vase other than these kiln faults. Additional photos will be provided upon request...

Sold Chinese porcelain cup decorated with famille rose enamel depicting a scene of scholars and children playing. "Qianlong Nianzhi" four character mark inside the foot rim, but made in 19th century. Excellent condition, the only flow is some gilt losing. Height: 2-1/4"; diameter: 3".

Both have a wonderful warm patina and would make excellent brush rests for a calligrapher's or artist's detail brushes. In excellent condition, they measure about 2" long x 1.5 inches high.
