A beautiful Chinese famille rose porcelain footed bowl surrounded with men, women, and children in an outdoor setting. Inside, the bowl are 3 small insects. In excellent condition, it dates to Guangxu period of the late 19th century. No hairlines, no chips, very slight wear compatible with age. Measures 10 1/8 inches x 8 1/2" x 3 1/8" high

An unusual leather overlay wooden table top chest with beautiful hardware. Size: H. 16cm. W. 38 x 22.2 cm. Condition: No repairs. Some loss of the leather, but overall in good condition and useable.

Chinese antique beautiful jumu (elm) wood cabinet, made with large pieces of elm wood with dramatic grain and lovely finish. Opening doors with a bar in the center. One interior shelf with two small drawers. Brass hardware with a large round lock plate and handles shaped like flower baskets.

A calligraphic inscription describing his accomplishments is at the upper left. Newly framed with Plexiglas to facilitate shipping. Chinese Qing dynasty Kangxi marked monochrome beehive form waterpot (taibo zun) subtly incised with three kui dragon roundels on the domed body. The sky blue glaze thins to white at the rim. The slightly recessed flat base and interior are white. The base holds an apocryphal underglaze blue six-character Kangxi reign mark written in three columns. 5 ¼” diameter by 3 ¼” high. Large rare Bronze statue of Quanyin (the Goddess of Mercy). She wears an ornate necklace and has a ball-like "Nyoi Jewel" in her right hand representing enlightenment . There is an image of Buddha beneath the veil on her head. In her left hand she is holding her ambrosia bottle (kalasa)representing "The Water of Compassion. She is sitting on a lotus base and at the back of the base is the stylized inscription of Xuande,1426 to 1435 AD. Size: H. 49cm. W. At the base 31cm. Condition: Nice Patina...

Intricately hand carved Chinese plant stand with a scalloped edged marble inset. In excellent original antique condition with a beautiful warm patina, it measures 36 inches high, 21 inches outside center diameter, 13.5" across top. Circa 1860

Chinese late Qing to Republic period camphor wood trunk densely carved with relief lotus flowers. Incised brass circular front lock plate. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. 31" long x 14" wide x 13" high. Very good, solid overall condition. There is a small separation in the wood at one of the front edges and a minor loss at one back corner revealing the tip of a tiny old nail (see closeup images)...

A male back Mandarin square with a leopard, denoting the 3rd military rank. Silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details. The animal is standing on a rock above deep water, the ground with Taoist longevity symbols. The background was probably covered by peacock feathers, rarely survived to the present days. LARGE bowl - may be a flower pot, but without hole. On the flat bottom inside engraved with one five clawed dragon and on the wall outside engraved with a pair of five clawed imperial dragons over waves chasing a fire ball (tams).
