Antique Chinese stone statue fragment of the head of one of the attendants to Buddha. One hand rests over the right ear while the other ear is left uncovered. The eyes are closed in meditation. Chinese Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille rose porcelain seated Budai holding a string of pearls in his right hand and his bag in his left hand. Nicely carved custom wood stand in the form of a settee. 5” high (6” high including the stand). Circa 1900. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is a minor imperfection to the stand. From an old Scottsdale, Arizona collection.

An early 18th century famille rose vase in the square baluster form, with various still-life antiques and decorative arts in molded relief, and paired with an old custom-fitted hardwood lid...

Body decorated with molded incised of Lion playing ball and the other side with Mandarin Duck among lotus pond. Condition is broken and re-glued, the upper side, spout and handle is missing. Found at South Sulawesi about more than 10 years ago. Height: 18.5cm.

A pair of antique Chinese wooden FOO-DOGS/LIONS, 19th Century. Very fine detailed hand carving. One with a pup (the female) and the other with a globe (the male) on detailed carved bases incorporating Buddhist symbols. Very good condition. Size: H. 22 cm.(8.75")

Beautiful Chinese antique display shelf made of Solid Jichi-mu wood (very heavy). The chest has three large display shelves, and two small drawers just under the top display area. The drawers are carved with scrolling mist and chimera and outfitted with brass pulls. Very nicely detailed. Each display area is enclosed on three sides with a low carved lattice work. Late 19th - early 20th Century Size: 69 1/2" high x 35" wide x 16 1/2" deep.

Antique Chinese large porcelain architectural tile with old glue residue along its edges. Depicted are nine gold imperial dragons and fireballs over a background of enamel rolling sea waves, bordered top and bottom with gold scroll designs on red. 18th/19th century. We are glad to present you one of our favorite statues of our collection - very large and precious Chinese Bronze Buddha from the 18th century with rests of gilt.

The Buddha is seated on a lotus base in abhaya mudra position which means protection, peace and the dispelling of fear.

This statue has a Qianglong Seven-Charakter Mark, DA QING QIANLONG NIAN JING ZAO, (1736-1795).
