Intricately hand carved wood brush pot with various scenes of Chinese daily life by Chinese artist Shuyuan Zhang of Shunyi Beijing, China. In excellent original condition, it measures 5 1/8 inches high x 4" diameter. Dates pre 1980.

Description : A wood carving was nicely done by openwork.
It is in a scene in good metaphor of 送子娘娘, a deity bringing child down to a family from clouds above.

A rare inkstone was found from a famous painter and scholar of Qing Dynasty - Zen-Yu 曾燠（AD1759-1830) .
The inscriptions on the inkstone were as follows : Dauguang 6th year (1826) Nan-chen, Zen-Yu(道光六年南城曾燠) .
On the reverse side, the motif of a crouching deer was well carved.

A Ming Inkstone was in simple rectangular form and was in decent look.
In characteristic Ming scholar mood, the inkstone was made from the unique Pudding stone.

The ferrule and tip are both crafted from turned wood while natural bristles form the full brush. In excellent condition, this is a handsome, well made brush dating from the early 20th C. A very rare and unusual large Chinese scroll painting done in the Japanese style of a bird in a cage with a bamboo tree and netting. Some gold leaf work on the leaves. The wooden weight on the bottom of the scroll has carved bone tips. Comes with original signed box. Age: 19th century. Size: L.213.5cm. W.44cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs.

The sleeves are painted with the heads of the Imperial Dragon and in the center there is a painting of the elusive flying pearl. The tips of the armrests and carved with the Linzhi mushroom...

Massive scrolled late Qing dynasty Chinese ancestor portrait executed in ink and color on paper depicting a civil official and his two wives. The official is dressed in formal attire and is seated on an armchair draped with a tiger skin. A Mandarin rank badge showing the official’s rank in the civil bureaucracy is on the center front of his cobalt-blue surcoat. The long tail appears to designate the bird as a paradise flycatcher, indicating an official of the 9th rank...

A rare and beautifully built silver inlaid zitan wood tray with silver frame/base. The inlaid picture depicting four geese playing at a reed marsh. Late Qing Dynasty. Chinese hanging scroll ink rubbing of an ancient stone carving featuring Quan Yin. Rubbing dates early 2oth century. Rubbings of ancient stone carvings are illegal in China as the process damages the stone. In very good condition, the rubbing measures 39.5 inches x 21 inches. Scroll measures 30" x 56" and comes in a bamboo container.

A beautiful painting was done by the famous painter Su Turn-Jau.
It was kept very well in good condition and was newly framed.

A pair of small bronze foo dogs or foo lions created by the lost-wax casting process, showing traces from the mold.
